My Dad has been on injections, I believe they're hormone injections, to try and boost his neutrophil numbers so he's healthy enough for his chemo treatment but we found out that his numbers are low as if he had never been taking the injections in the first place! Is this normal? Dad's so frustrated because this now puts him behind on treatments because they keep being pushed back due to the low neutrophils. They're now saying they're not going to put him on the injections again for now and seeing what his numbers are like next week.
