Hi everyone,
Although I would never wish this upon anyone I have been looking through the forum for anyone with a similar case to myself as it is so rare.
I battled cervical cancer in 2018 did everything that was needed from me full hysterectomy chemotherapy radiotherapy bracytherapy, my ovaries were preserved.
Within 2 years cysts classed as massive (one over 20cm another around 13cm) wer found covering my ovaries. It wasn't until surgery they new the extent, one had peeled itself onto my bowel and was growing so I woke up to a permanent stoma, the other had grown close to the blood vessels by my main artery by my leg. Have been informed they are of a mucinous type.
Just wondering if anyone else no's anything at all about this for support. I have been told I need another major surgery including part of my artery removing and a graft doing, but due to covid 19 I can't because I need an intensive care bed. They are also worried about lymph glands being enlarged close by, so are trying to organize some chemotherapy for me but I understand it doesn't respond well. Is there anybody else having treatment/surgery compromised due to covid 19 and if so how are u coping?!
I am 31 mum of 2 boys age 7 and 4 I feel like my youngests whole life has been put on hold to my cancer just a scary time
Thanks for your time
Kay xx
