How have you managed to wait so patiently for all this time?

Nobody should have to wait 4 months for test results. I know that the current situation is unprecedented, but you should seriously chase up your results straight away.

Thabk you Steph..I will wait till Easter is over then have the GP chase them. 

I would ring your GP tomorrow, no one should have to wait that long.

Even though we have corona, cancer tests are cancer tests and doctors are still referring people for tests, I had biopsy 2 days ago, gonna give it 3 weeks, if I don't hear then I will be on phone to GP.

I dont think the GPs are open tomorrow? 

I will wait till after Easter then get the GP to chase it  

I did speak to the consultants secretary a couple of weeks ago and she said he would call me but I still havent heard. 

Good luck with your biopsy results. Hope you dont have a long wait for the results

I'm glad to hear that you are going to chase up your GP next week. Just a thought, but since you have already spoken to your consultant's secretary and, she told you that she would contact you, you might find it quicker to go back to her yourself. Ask what the delay is.

If you don't get anywhere with the secretary by all means go through your GP, but this could take a little longer.

I sincerely hope that you find out your results soon. Please let us know how you get on.

Thanks Jolamine but I'm so irate with the whole situation now that if I call the consultants secretary again I may not be as polite as I was the first time . 

I will call the GP Tuesday morning and make them do the chasing. 

If no joy by the end of the week I will call PALS (if they are still at work)

Yes, I would chase it up as soon as possible, with the busy workload they may not have got round to you yet, Try to enjoy Easter, I know it's hard, i am waiting for results from biopsy, gotta wait another couple weeks.

I can fully understand how you feel. Here's hoping that your GP can get this sorted out quickly.

Like you I find it hard to believe that any hospital employing professional people can fail to take an MRI correctly. When it had to be done for a second time, I would have expected them to rush the results through for you, but hey, what do I know?

Fingers crossed that you hear something on Tuesday.
