I'm not a medic but my understanding is that no one is at more risk of getting the virus than any other person. However, those with certain underlying health conditions or on certain treatments will suffer worse from the virus if they catch it. I don't think having any particular gene type will make it worse should you catch it, unless you have cancer and are currently receiving treatment.
