                            welcome to the trudge club,its what you do after a few rounds of radiotherapy.Its hard to get your head around how a few minute burst can leave you completely drained.But when you consider some of its potential side effects, you appreciate the power of this treatment

                                                                                                                                 l had mine at 3.30,spent an hour collapsed in a chair at the maggies centre which was a very short distance from the clinic,and just managed to get to the hospital canteen for an evening meal.It was then touch and go if l could make my way to accommodation some 600metres away,but never in one go. The rest of the night was spent collapsed on the bed. Never mind getting up to go to the toilet ,lifting my head was challenging.

 So fear not, you are not alone in feeling drained, and many people are  completely nacky-nooed from this,

Hi

I has 15 sessions and found at around session 9 I was really tired and just wanted to go to bed. I picked up After that. Just listen to your body and rest if you need to. I slapped on a thick layer of cream before I went to bed and it seemed to work for me. 
 

Hope the tiredness eases soon.
