Hi , I wonder if anyone can help, I started chemo in July 2018, had surgery in the October, after surgery developed pneumonia due to infection and had arrest, I came out of hosp and started chemo again until April last yr then went on hormone treatment , then went bk on weekly chemo till January this yr. my performance status has been 0 and only once in the past been 1 as it was again this January. I was told my disease is stable in January and told to have a 3 month break and that it was good news. I was told I was palliative last year, however I have been doing everything to keep well. I asked my oncologist in January if I would go bk on weekly chemo and he said it depends how fast and where the cancer grows back. I have since recieved a letter to say I go bk in 3 months, there is no mention of a ct scan which I get every 3 months, I would think after a break of 3 months I would get a scan how else can they see how the cancer is growing or if it’s still stable.
