Coming to the end of Radiotherapy over 8 weeks. I read the information leaflet with side effects listed. I assumed it was like 'possible side effects from the pill' you never get them. But I got every single side effect on the list and more. I was fit going into treatment and a good weight. I've only lost a 14lbs in 8 weeks even though I haven't eaten many meals for over 4 weeks. It's just too painful to eat. The inside of my mouth is red raw and it feels like there is a razor blade lodged under my tongue it hurts all the time even with morphine. My younger is cracked with deep lines which are very sore too. Really coming to the end of my tolerance with the constant pain. Then facing the scans to see if clear.
