Hello, my mother had 15 sessions of radiotherapy on her left breast area over 3 weeks and this finished at the end of January. She had the treatment following a double mastectomy. During the treatment itself my mother was regulary moisturising with double base and she had no symptoms whatsoever. She did not even feel especially tired. A week after treatment the area becaue progressively more red, itchy and it began to scab over. It isn't especially painful, but it is very itchy. My mother continues to moisturise the area a few times a day. A month later some areas are beginning to heal and it appears that things will continue this way. I think it will take another month to fully heal.
