Hello 

I had recently finished palliative chemotherapy for stage 4 cancer and after being told I would not be given further treatment another hospital has given me the opportunity to have pelvic radiotherapy or join a clinical trial.

I think I am swaying towards the radiotherapy as the clinical trial is placebo controlled so there is a 50/50 chance I will get the dummy drug and no treatment at all. My cancer is very aggressive so I don't feel I can take the chance.

I was wondering if anyone who has had or is having radiotherapy to the pelvis would be willing to share their experiences with me - good and bad.
