Hiya! Try not to worry too much, everyone reacts differently. If you have any nasty side effects all you need to do is phone and they will try different medications etc to help.

i had 3 cycles of FEC and now coming up to my 2nd cycle of docetaxel.

I'm finding docetaxel better than FEC but my consultant has told me that's unusual as it's normally the other way round .

Are you getting a wig? I wear mine out and about sometimes but prefer my head scarfs (much more comfortable!)xxx

It must be a great feeling to have come this far and the end of treatment is in sight. Mine is 6 rounds of FEC chemo and 3 weeks of radiotherapy to go. They haven't mentioned Docetaxel to me, Thank you for your reply, hopefully it will be doable and as you say there is lot of support if you are feeling too unwell. Once the 1st one tomorrow is out of the way I'll know what to expect. I have appointment for a wig in a couple of weeks and plenty of scarves to keep me going. Xx
