Glioma

My nan has just been diagnosed with this tumour she was at the gym shopping for her daughters and and very active and then in December she fell and her legs started to go . But she said it was her knee after her knee replacement. Till we noticed her mouth drooping,so we took her to hospital were they treated her for a stroke . Her gp sent her for MRI which came back  as a tumor in the stem of her brain she has just had another MRI with dye on Wednesday and we got the consultant this Monday to see what stage it is at. We been told not much research. , But for anyone going through this spend time with them ,it is hard to see them detriate  but be there every minute. We just hope for good news Monday.

  • Hi Massa and welcome to the forum.

I just saw your other post revealing the news you were given about your nan. I'm really sorry the results were not what you were hoping for. I know nothing I can say right now can make this situation any better but I just wanted you to know that our community are here for you and will do what they can to support you at this difficult time.

    Best wishes to you all,

  • Hi Steph  on Monday we received more bad news that their is clusters of tumours and she has days left , she is rapidly getting worse each day but we have been singing to her playing her favourite songs , anything she wants ,we giving her . We sit round her bed every night and sing her ,her favourite songs .we now have the district nurses coming in as of yesterday.  The only comfort we have is not in pain .
