I was diagnosed with intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma in March of 2016. They tried to go in and do a resection but when he opened me up the cancer was over 70%of my liver so he closed me back up. I was devastated. And I ended up having radioembolizations and chemoembolization and then I did systemic chemo for 17 months. My last chemo was March of 2018 and I was stable up until October of 2019 when I had slight growth. They held off on treatment because the growth was very small. Then just this month I was scanned again and again slight growth. He said it's STILL not enough to be alarmed so I will scan again in April. If I do end up having significant growth I will have radioembolization again since it worked very well for me. My cancer is stage 4 with liver metastasis. I do have pain and terrible fatigue. I have not had terrible issues with jaundice, just noticed it in my eyes a few times. I also suffer from intense itching. Other than the pain and debilitating fatigue I don't feel terrible. I have bad days with nausea and occasional vomiting but otherwise I'm doing fairly well. Since I don't "look" like a cancer patient people often forget I'm sick and get upset when I can't get out and go places. It gets frustrating because I want to go but I'm just too tired. Anyway, just looking to chat with someone who can relate. Looking for a friend. Take care.
