got a long journey. Chemo. Another op after few weeks break. Radiotherapy. Immune theraphy. Steroids injections 

feels like life's over.  I tried cool cap did you ? I cut my hair short though xxx

I feel exactly the same. No I didnt try it as dr said it prob wont work.i started losing my hair.so the crying started again. Got my mother inlaw to shave it of.i got head scarves n wig 

Can imagine how hard it is.  They advised me. Let's see early days for me. Xxx.

Hi Sangha thank you.not looking forward to it as its different chemo.herceptin is injection in leg,so hopefully not yo painful.have to be there 6 hours as herceptin effects the heart and new treatment so they want to keep eye on me. Hope you feel better soon.im always glad when I come of them injections.i do celebrate with wine afterwards lol. I understand when you say cant taste a thing.i have to put chilli sauce on most of my food sometimes x

Hi, Im new to this site..i hope you are all having a good day. I’ve had 4 x fec and had my first docetaxol 10 days ago. Wow.. I feel like a 90 year old has highjacked my body (I’m 45) I was hoping the side effects would have worn off by now but I’m still so achy and weak. I have had to inject myself with the bone marrow stuff which causes even more back pain.  ️

Ive got my second taxol on the 14th feb and thinking I might ask for a reduction in the dosage as I’ve had nearly every side effect going.. it felt like battery acid had been tipped down my throat, no tastes buds, loss of appetite. Sore nose with nose bleeds, dry skin, aches and pains all over and very tired. Like I say it’s 10 days on and whilst some side effects are getting better it seems like there’s no end in sight. 

I think I’m feeling a bit sorry for myself at the moment, but reading other people experiences helps so much. Any advice dealing with the taxol would be great.

Hi Fishnvhips, aww bless you.iv got a cold at moment.so no aches pains yet.but very tired.hope you get better soon.its horrible feeling like old lady.when I been having aches and pains I get upset a lot x
