  • Hello Shaundel71 and welcome to our friendly forum!

I am so sorry to hear about these side effects you have been suffering as a result of your chemotherapy treatment. The pins and needles you describe is something many of our users can relate to and I hope you will hear from others who have been affected by chemotherapy in a similar way. It might be worth talking to your medical team about this and mentioning to them that you are suffering from these side effects and whether there is anything they can suggest to alleviate these.

We have some useful information on our website about chemotherapy side effects which you can read here . More specifically, we also have a page on nerve changes and cancer drugs here which addresses your issues with neuropathy, the pins and needles you describe in your feet, legs, arms and fingers. It includes some tips to help you cope with these nerve changes. I can imagine this is truly frustrating for you and hopefully you will also hear from some of our members who have experienced similar side effects.

Our nurses are also just a free phone call away so don't hesitate to give them a call on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their line is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm so don't hesitate to get in touch with them if you want to talk things through with them.

    Best wishes,
