My 2nd round of Chemo hasn't worked

 Saw oncologist 7th Jan she told me the 2nd lot of chemo was not working and there was nothing else they could do we asked if there was any other treatment at all and the specialist nurse came up with Liposomal Ddoxorubicin has anyone else had this chemo ?  How was it for you ? I have Peritoneal Cancer which is a recurrence of ovarian cancer that I had in 2001 !

Apparently this chemo is for treating Ovarian Cancer but sounds like they use it as a last resort.

 

Any info on would be much appreciated.

    I'm sorry to hear that your recent treatment hasn't worked. It's positive though that the specialist nurse was able to suggest another option. Hopefully this will have some success for you. 

    We do have some information on our website here about the kind of chemo that you've mentioned. 

    I've had a look across the forum and I can see that [@SkippySue54]‍ mentioned in her post here that she has growths on her peritoneum and that she was having Doxorubicin.
