It's 5 weeks now since surgery, fluid has gone down without getting it drained so that's good . Painful neck and shoulder has got better too, I've been gently exercising. The area where lump was removed is still bright red and has spread a bit. I went to my GP and have just finished a week of antibiotics but it hasn't made a difference, so I called my breast nurse yet again and am meeting with Consultant surgeon tomorrow. It's hard to know whether it's infection, but then I don't have a temperature. Have just had oncologist appt come through 16th Jan, so will know what chemo treatment I will be having...what joy!!
