Just over 3 weeks post masectomy and quite uncomfortable with fluid build up and red sore patch. Underarm very tight. Not sure if I should phone doctor yet. Waiting for appointment with oncologist, unfortunately I have chemo and radiotherapy looming up, I've been offered some work and wondering how much I can take on while going through treatment. It's the unknown with cancer that puts life on hold. Friend visiting on Monday who has had double masectomy, one 5 years after the first. It was some years ago and she is living life to the full so there's always hope!
