Hello- I’m new here ☺︎

Hello everyone,

My name is Melissa, I’m 46 and was diagnosed with stage four follicular lymphoma back in the summer of 18’.

I recently gave birth early Oct. Notice my lyphm nodes that I already could feel enlarged  in my pelvis and now had them swollen in my neck and underarms. I went to the doctor and they wanted to give it sometime, they thoughts were I just had a baby so would need to give it sometime in case it was hormonal etc due to the pregnancy & of course it takes for the wiman’s body to heal.

Now nearly 12 wks on ice had my CT, results just in Monday there, the day before Xmas Eve! They said it has become aggressive and now need to have biopsy to confirm whether it’s the same type of lymphoma or not and then they can decide on course of treatment!

The moment I heard the words, aggressive, chemo my heart sunk! Anyone else with stage   four and has undergone treatment earlier then expected?

Thank you
