3 weeks after masectomy and feeling quite well. Some swelling and soreness underarm but a couple of ibruprofen seems to help. Such a lovely bright and sunny Christmas Day. We looked after a friends dog and went for a walk in the woods. Almost seemed normal. This cancer though is never far from my thoughts, it was in my underarm lymph nodes and  on my chest wall, so chemo is the next step, but not until end of January.  I've never had so much rest and sleep as always been working, so that's helped. Tomorrow I shall do a little gardening if it ever stops raining! I just pray that I can get over this and have time with my family. The most important thing is to be kind, hard when you feel like shouting and swearing! I bought my partner a mug with Blue *** on, he's lost one *** so I bought him some more....better to laugh than cry!
