Today i was given the best news my biopsies came back with no traces of cancer ,it has really hit home how lucky iam so now I'm thinking of ways to raise awareness of the importance of smear tests any idea's would be welcome xx
Hi Tullulah can i ask how did you get your results only got a phone call am in hospital tomz morning 3 weeks i have been waiting for biospy and had MRI and CT scan guess am getting it al at once. Would you still get get god knews if you had to go in for results? Thats what am kinda hoping. X
Hi kkk,they rang me with my results but my case was unusual as the gynecologist was certain it was cancer when he did the coloscopy so ordered a mri scan before my biopsie results where back fortunately he was wrong but i do have cin3 so going into hospital on the 5th of December for lletz treatment.i wish you luck please let me know how you get on x
Yeah of course i had a post menopausal just heavy bleed the once with clots wouldent stop after several months not bleeding its stoped now they gave me trandexamic acid to control the bleeding that was couple of weeks ago its al stop now havent got discharge anything like that. Thou when i got my biospy she said my cervix was red and dident like the look of it without she said she dident know if it was cancer without any evidence. And had me so upset she was a misrable get and rough i ended up with a abcess outside my virginia thats clearef up now with antibiotics.
Kkk like i say that's what the i got told from .gp ,my cervix was red and really bloody when nurse doing my smear called her in to look,then gynecologist telling me he was certain i had cancer,if a trained professional can jump to conclusions no wonder we do i do think though if it's something sinister you would find out sooner than 3 weeks x
