Hair loss

Hi,

I have a brain tumour and received radio to the brain everyday for 6 weeks then a year long course of chemo tablets. I lost my hair during the radio therapy but 3 months after I finished it started to grow back, mainly strong except one patch, but now it has started to all fall out again and I'm really confused as to why.

I still have my brain tumour as the treatment couldn't get rid of it, but currently only take kepra for seizures caused by the tumour and then a general multi vitamin tablet.

has anyone experienced this kind of hair loss and if so what did you do to stop the hair loss? Any advice greatly appreciated. X

  • Hi Sillybrain

I'm sorry to hear that you've been having some hair loss recently. It's natural to have some ongoing hair loss and it can increase during times of stress or feeling run down. It's certainly worth mentioning it to your GP, Consultant or nurse next time you have an appointment.
    Best wishes,
