How common is BC reaccurance?

I know it's like asking how king is a piece of string but I was just wondering how many lovely ladies on here have had BC for the second time.

i think since my treatment finished I'm August I have felt more scared about it coming back than I was about the initial diagnosis.

My 5 year check up, yesterday, cancer free. Doctor said to come back in a year or 18 months. He did not expect a recurrence, but if that happens, probably in bones, but usually treatable. Cancer just does not scare me, I think of it as no different than heart disease or diabetes, of which I have neither....

Hi Penelope,
great news on your check up, that's fantastic. Cancer terrifies me if I'm honest, I wish it didn't but it does.
