Radiotherapy for brain tumour

Hi everyone,

In a few weeks I will be starting radiotheraphy for a brain tumour 10 mins a day for 6 weeks. (I have just completed a five-day course of chemotherapy which knocked me out a bit.)

I wondered if any had any advice for this particular type of radiotheraphy? I know it could tired me out as time goes on, but what will the main ill effects be? The tumour is right in the centre on my brain.

Hi visgraat,
Sorry you haven't received a reply so far to your post. In terms of what to expect, it would be good to discuss this with your doctor so that you're fully informed. There is also some information on the Cancer Research UK website here.
Otherwise, hopefully any others here with similar experience will be along soon. My reply will boost your post so that more people will see it. You can also search the forum (using the button in the blue bar) to find similar topics.
