I had a portal vein embolization done 3 weeks ago and for past 2 days I have been having a new pain develop under my right breast feels like it's in my ribs. Has anyone else experienced this.
Welcome to Cancer Chat. I am sorry to hear you have been experiencing this new pain under your right breast. I think it might be worth giving your doctor a call and getting this checked out. Do mention that you had a PVE three weeks ago and whether they think this is related or not.

I've struggled to find much info about recovery from PVE so I'm writing to share my experiences for this who find themselves in the same position.
In my case the pain has also been in this area: under the sternum and from there across to the right side of my body, under the ribcage. Initially it was a burning sensation. It was particularly painful if I was jolted in any way, such as going over bumps in the car.
It improved within a week of surgery but has come back on and off since then. It's now 2 ½ weeks since I had surgery.
