Hi I am currently having chemo and finding my mouth is very dry and have the worst sore throat it's like swallowing glass. This isn't helped that I have to sleep/ breathe with my mouth open. Any great remedies ?

Hi Julia, I gave my husband boiled lemonade with honey in it slightly cooled down, you can buy a throat spray for sore throats at the chemist it numbs the back of your throat, also Igloo is good for ulcers, again over the counter meds. Good luck, Carol
Hi, I too have trouble with my mouth, I keep my freezer full up with lollys and ice cream, really does help me. Also they advise about cleaning your teeth a lot, this makes it worse, twice a day is fine x
i had difflam prescribed by my Care team. Also ice cream helps and I found cold fizzy drinks helped, lime cordial with fIzzy water, fizzy elderflower. hope it starts to feel better. x
