bladder cancer pain

Hi, I have stage 2 bladder cancer ( scc)and  I am due for a radical cystectomy. I have a lot of pain in by lower back / coccyx/ right hip area and although I'm aware this can be a symptom of bladder cancer I don't know what's causing it or if it will improve after the op. I had a right side nephrostomy done 3 weeks ago which hasn't resplved pain issues.

Anyone experienced anything similar?

    Hi welcome to the forum.

    I have bladder cancer with mets.

    The pain & areas you have problem with same as me on righthand side plus I have pain in back just above waist.

    After op for removel of tumour was canceled 3 times by hospital I refused treatment on 4th call for op.

    I was then refurred to Mcmillian/GP care I now have morphine patches + Co-codamol tabs for the pain via GP

    I have so far not contacted Mcmillian not sure how they help.
