Hi yes they did. I've had it reopened twice now.. so 3 surgeries all together. I think the last one they only reopened about 90% of the scar.

Yes I did after liver surgery think they called it mop up it wasn't to bad didn't lose my hair and felt poorly for a couple of days ... are you still living with cancer on your liver?

I've got a couple of spots on my liver and a couple of tiny ones in my lungs. They haven't really grown much over the last few years so I'm classed as stable. 
Is yours primary liver cancer or has it spread from elsewhere? 

Mine spread from the bowel so over the course of 5 years I've had ops to remove them and a few RFA 's so iv not really needed chemo as thankfully they have been operable that's amazing g your living with those spots and no treatment xx

I've been fairly lucky that the last few years have been stable. I went for a second opinion and they were fairly certain all the spots were benign but due to the high reoccurrence rate I'm still scanned every 6 months. 
Have they said how big the tumour is? Hopefully they can ablate it for you rather than an open surgery again. X

Gosh you've done so well 13 years is a long time ... think it's only very small in liver also lung met is .. when you say you had a second opinion did you use a different hospital or change oncologist? I know lots people do that although am happy with everything so far ... have you heard of the cyber knife to blast tumours? Xx
