Hi. Have a couple of non wired ‘normal’ bras from M&S. I was in with the bra fitting lady, she brought me lots to try on. I’ve used a bra extender (hook and eye bit from haderdashery) during rads to make more comfortable. 

thank you for your reply, and I actully bought one of these today before you posted your message , they have them in the post surgery range as well as the full support range.....and yes, extremely comfortable.

As I havent started my radtiotherapy yet I realise my breast will change shape so dont want to invest in too many, so these are just perfect thank you xx

Good luck with your rads. I’m 12 done, 8 to go. 

how are you feeling?

I’m doing ok. I have been working and driving myself to appointments for the rads. Skin is just starting to feel sore. Lots of moisturising cream.

Hi, I've just been diagnosed today and advised to get a sports bra prior to my surgery, so on starting my search, happened to land on Michskin's post.  Michskin, would you mind saying which specific bra it is you've used please?  Thanks.

I have had lots of breast surgery and wear post surgery bras from m&s  they have wider sides than normal soft bras l find they give me more support. There is only a couple of styles that are comfortable the others don't sit right. I have also worn sports bras although not the strongest ones, or crop tops which are comfortable but don't give much shape.

I got mine from Amazon (don't know if I'm allowed to post link?) - just zip-up sports bras - I have found them to be really comfortable and they also keep in place the little pretend boob you get after surgery!  I'm not very big anyway (A cup) but did find it best to size up for comfort (I'm a size 10 but went for a large).
