  • It's so good to get started and have an end date in place. It's weird being moved about isn't it? Hopefully you will be as quick tomorrow too. I have a massive tub of E45 and still applying it.

I'm doing fine, no soreness just a bit warm and firm feeling. Tired still but am coming through it now I think. I have more energy over the past couple of days which is good news

  • Go JBee,you soon get into the routine and when I look back now the 20 sessions goes quickly and the last 5 boost ones are literally 30 seconds!!

Going ok,still sleeping lots in at night but not in day so it's passing now!!

I am still slapping the cream on lol

    loads love xxx

  • Hello ladies

Hope life is treating you both well.  I have been very busy with work, but thought I would stop by to say I'm still going strong and 5 down, 15 to go

No issues really and apparently I'm the perfect patient.... I literally am in the right position from the get go.  So it's super quick for me

    Lots of love

  • Hi,get you model patient!!!
Don't expect any issues hun until at least 10-11days of treatment but you hopefully will be lucky and not get the tiredness fingers crossed!!
Hope you are slapping on that cream???
In of to see Oncologist on Monday so see what she has to say!!
I am feeling fine but just can't get the cancer brain to go away especially at night time....Keep it up lovely lady xxx

  • Yes fingers crossed.  Thanks my lovely and yes cream is my best friend

Good luck with oncologist hope it's all good news, I will stop by and check how you got on.  I know cancer brain is not nice, but it's early days you need time to recover, it's just as much a mental thing than a physical.  You might feel more relaxed after your oncologist appointment when you get positive news.  Be kind to yourself.

  • Feeling gullty as it's 4 weeks now since my Radiotherapy, think it's the fight for getting the right tablets that isn't helping as GP can't prescribe me the ones I was taking any longer as too expensive!!
soo peed off with it all.

Hope that cream is in the fridge lol

Ill let you know how it goes on Monday then dexa scan Tuesday.
Don't we live the high life....not!
    Take care lovely xxx

  • Hi JBee

Glad it's all going well for you, the time soon passes and then it's very strange not going every day Glad you are using massive quantities of E45, it's very good. I had no soreness at all so was very lucky. I am now 3 weeks since finishing my radiotherapy and was at first really tired but now feel my energy levels are coming back gradually and I can walk further every day.

Keep up being that model patient

    Love Mary xx

  • Hi Jackie

Hope you get the tablet situation sorted out soon. Will be interested to know how your appointment goes on Monday. My oncology appointment is not until 16th January.

Are you nearly organised for Christmas?
    Love Mary xx

  • Hi Mary,

I'm doing fine, taking no tablets at the moment as Oncologist is trying to get them to stay on the same ones but she's not hopeful.... so god knows what I'll do!!!
I will let you know how it goes then Dexa on Tuesday.

Presents bought online but need to be wrapped but in all honesty I'm really not in the mood for it yet when I usually love Christmas, cancer brain.....

  • Had my DEXA a few weeks ago. Hope I don't need to take calcium tablets, will see what the oncologist says.

I'm really looking forward to Christmas, fairly organised and my youngest son is coming up from Ludlow and always cooks Christmas lunch then we are out for lunch Boxing Day. Have the panto with the family on Christmas Eve so quite a lot going on.

You try and relax and I'm sure you will feel better after your appointment next week

    Love Mary xx
