Endometrial cancer

Hi everyone,

I found out over a year ago that I have atypical hyperplasia and was told by my gyny that if I lost weigh and took progestrone tablet and have the coil fitted that it should help over come that condition but unfortunately I found out in December that I have stage 1b cancer of my womb and now my doctor is talking about giving me hysterectomy but I have no children and I'm 30 years old. I'm so confused and I just don't know what to do I'm so very upset

I wanted to try and connect you two ladies up ASAP and hopefully as I've tagged her in she'll see this post but you might also want to comment her post too.

  • Hi Jadey

I’m going through similar. I’m 38, no children and had pcos prior to grade 1 stage 1b endometrial cancer.

I have just had my total hysterectomy (and lymph node removal) and completed 3 rounds of internal radiotherapy. (Brachytherapy)

It is an upsetting time for sure. I will try and help with any questions you have.  Children hasn’t been an issue for me though I have to admit, as I’m in a same sex marriage and my wife was always the one we planned to carry with due to my PCOS.

If there’s anything I can help with give me a shout here.

    Stacey
