Hiya, well 3 down, 17 rads to go and not so bad now have got used to it. Petrified day 1, so it took forever to line me up, as I couldn't stop shaking, but staff are fantastic. When you look around the waiting room and see folks clearly in much worse shape than you are, it helps to get things straight in your head. So altogether, not doing too bad at all, just sticking with peace & quiet, and making sure I eat well and get plenty of rest/ sleep. How many rads have you to go, how do you find them? 

Hi ploppy, I'm not speaking from experience, but from reading forum,, quite a few people have had problems with radiotherapy causing problems away from treatment area, depending were area was, check with onco, to make sure some have stopped treatment early because of side effects, good luck.

It’s lovely to hear from you, I’ve got 5 to go, I was only having 15, they haven’t been anywhere near as bad as I was dreading, skin is a little bit tender but nothing major and the tamoxifen, which I was really worried about has been fine, so except for the pain swallowing everything has gone ok, I really can’t wait till I’m finished though.
