Hi, first time poster. My husband is terminal with bowel and secondary lung cancer. He has a stoma bag in place but the past while he's been in pain and I had a look earlier and the tumour in his bowel has came down into his anas canal.

He's in pain which the medication isn't managing totally and a friend has suggested using instillagel to numb it for a while. I'm familiar with it and how it works but terrified that it may cause him more discomfort which I don't want and we're away for a holiday next week so really don't want it ruined because of something I've done to annoy his tumour.

Is there anyone would have solid advice for me or have used this gel?
