  • Hello Merry-man,

Welcome to our forum although I am sorry to hear what about brings you here, that you are having to have robotic surgery as your cancer is very high grade. We have some information on our website on bladder cancer which includes details on treatment and surgery which you can read more about here.

I hope others on the forum who have had this type of surgery will be along to share their experiences with you. I thought I would for example mention [@Binky35]‍ whose dad also had his bladder removed along with the prostate and who shared their story on this thread. [@Nickitee]‍ who replied on that thread might also be able to guide you or give you some tips on how to cope before and after the operation.

It might be worth also giving our nurses a call on this free number 0808 800 4040 as they may also have additional advice for you to help you prepare ahead of the surgery.

We will be thinking of you and sending you positive vibes ahead of the operation. We hope it goes well and do keep in touch to update us if you can.

    Best wishes,
