Hi there was diagnosed with DCIS - ductal carcinoma in situ last week and having operation next Wednesday.  Am feeling okay about things at the moment but obviously quite anxious especially about having this wire placed on the day of the op.  Am very squeamish around needles and I found having the core biopsies taken under mammogram machine very painful.  Can anyone who has this done possibly reassure me it is not too bad :-)
