Hi  Cazzy - I'm replying to your post because I see it's a little while since you posted & no-one has responded as yet. Don't worry sweetie they will!! The chances are it will be people who have been diagnosed with cancer (I haven't thankfully) & they'll be able to offer advice perhaps & lots of comfort. I recently had a cancer scare & it took a while for anyone to respond but when they did it was brilliant & so helpful. 

I'm sure that's what you need - someone who fully understands where you are on your journey. Someone, or probably a few of them, will come along & you'll be able to talk thro' all of your fears & worries as & when you want to.

Feeling scared is so normal & understandable & it's a horrid place to be. You say "it may mean surgery" & no-one wants that of course but it might mean that if it's necessary things can get sorted out for you.

Being anxious & scared, according to my GP, can make symptoms worse, so try to keep as calm as you can - easier said than done I know. Lots of people here will have had similar experiences & will be along soon. In the meantime take as much care of yourself as you can & I wish you a safe passage on your journey. xx
