So, cancer.... Well it sucks for sure; doubt anyone disagrees with that! Then it's different for everyone, because we are all unique human beings, regardless of age, race, colour, beliefs (etc). Good for you joining us @ shaunth. You're brave doing that. Keep posting!
thanks vplum i only joined because i starting not to cope with what is happening to me and thought talking about it with other mayhelp me a bit more
Well I think that was a good move on your part! Feckin scarey stuff for sure, so the more support the better. More troops will join soon , guess they're sleeping at present. Meantime you get me. If it helps to keep chatting.
So, as some on here know, I sometimes get a bit philosophical. Not that I'm that brainy or anything, it just helps me. And might help others. So, getting cancer is maybe a bit like being in a plane which has been hijacked by a terrorist. Scarey, but (NHS) pilots, air traffic control etc will get you back down to safety. Good friend of mine described it, this week, as understandable 'raw emotion', because you feel like you have had layers of skin stripped away and are ultra-sensitive, because of that. No doubt many more descriptions of how it feels (and apologies for any offence caused by what I've shared here, which is about feelings, not treatment, you understand) . Love to all.
