You didn't mention cemo or radiotherapy it seams strange, I've got non curable prostate cancer i was put on decapetyl (hormone inj's) before i started cemo, when first found psa 1581 gleason 8 stage 4 it is in lymph nodes, spine, ribs and pelvis, and one lung that was Feb 2016 psa now is 0.8 nothing else changed still fit (for a 67 Yr old) i think so anyway, did you have cemo or rad,

P.s they put metastatic bony metastases,, retro peritoneal lymphadenopathy, prostate adenocarcinoma, & lung mets,. i don't like the big words. Gets confusing..

sorry so much in a state these days don,t know if i am coming or going!!

Backgroung;; 2011 has a PSA done was  11 . was told nothing to worry go home and relax.

so that,s what i did as a fit and healthy chap then.!! Low and behold in  2013  i started complaining of

pain on my LT. side.One night just could,t move,the.doctor came  said ?a kidney stone.so will put me through for some tests.Eventually  admitted to hosp .had a scan revealed compression to LT uterea.

 so a stent was inserted  which grately helped the problem.The STENT was changed 6monthly under general anasthetic which was a worry everytime going under an general.This was

then removed in 2016. Ct scan was done in 2014 and revealed PSA 28 which quickly went up to 38.I

underwent prostate biopsies unfortunately revealed a gleason 5+4=9 T4 N1 M1b bone disease ademocarcinoma of prostate in 12 out of 12 cores.

  i then started on Bicalutamide for 3 weeks then LHRH agonist therapy and prostat hormone therapy.

 had Radiotherapy 5 courses only to lower back and upper neck for pain.which helped.Have not had

any CHEMO THERAPY.

2015 was randomised on the stamped trial for hormone treatment alone.

oct 16. had 1st course of RADIUM223 THERAPY.

started on Zometa injection for collapse 2 vertebra and 2 wedging of lower vertebrae also.

gosh this is never ending.  2016 had some moles( Melanoma)  removed from upper shoulder, inner thigh.

in 2017 this was found to be a Mutated BRAF MELANOMA  .

Dec 2018 bone mets. has gone to ribs pelvis.so dissappointing.then a

small LT axillary lump observed.biopsy done

March 2019 i had a CT scan , revealed multiple lung and liver METASTASIS.new rapid growth BRAF MELANOMA. CONSEQUENTLY HAD TO STOP enzalutamide tablets as ? interacts with this new

drug i am on presently for the melanoma.Dabrafenib andTrametinib  tablets.

thankfully this has since shrunk the node under my arm from 7cms to 1.5 cm,s now.

But no changes in the bloods which is worrying for the doctors and me. until a CT is next done IN JULY

will not know for sure what is going on.Presently i am very breathless since last thursday, coughing.

and bringing up phelm plus being sick with it and not sleeping.  Have started on amoxicillin tablets for ? chest infection since tuesday evening but no ease up yet NOT SURE IF IT IS THE SIDE EFFECTS OF THESE TABLETS I AM TAKING FOR THE MELANOMA.Have

 not seen the doctor but spoke over the phone.

IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE GOING THROUGH THE SAME AS I AM. WOULD SO MUCH LIKE YOUR SUPPORT AND TO HEAR.

I have no experience of prostate cancer but I have been a BRAF + Stage 3 melanoma patient for 10 years. My advice - if you are feeling this ill and are unsure if it's the side effects of the Dab/Tram please contact your medical team at the hospital. You should have been given a number/email of your Specialist Cancer Nurse or the Specialist Team - they are best placed to decide if you need to be seen quickly, especially if the antibiotics aren't working by now (I assume these were prescribed by your GP). Please contact them and let us know how you get on,
