Ive had a picc line for 6 weeks and it's starting to sting and feel sore around entry point! It's not red or infected, just wondering if anyone else has had this??
i had that also and found I was allergic to the plasters that hold it on and the symptoms were same as you described I think you can get a different make of plaster as the nurse. I was quite surprised as never thought it would be that, but turns out it happens more often that we think. Hope you get it sorted
also the irritation wasn’t straight away, so maybe when they’ve cleaned and changed it they’ve used a different type??
