Suppressed appetite

Hello,

A friend who works in new treatments told me to try Sativex.  This is an extract from cannabis oil.  It won't make you high, but it will give you the munchies.  Apparently my friend has reviewed research into Sativex used in experiments and the results were good.

Thanks

  • Hi Karen and thanks for posting. I just wanted to let you know that in fact Sativex, (a cannabis-based medicine that is sprayed into the mouth), is only licensed in the UK for people with MS-related muscle spasticity that hasn't got better with other treatments.

But its availability on the NHS is limited. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) does not recommend that NHS doctors prescribe Sativex, therefore we always suggest talking things through with your doctor before buying any drugs over the internet as these are often not properly tested and could be dangerous and interfere with other cancer treatments

    I hoep this helps

    Regards
