im in my last week of radiotherapy treatment, and I’m really stressed about the after effects, to the point where I’m felling really unwell, and having pains which are nothing to do with the treatment all psychological I think!
im worries about long term side effects lungs, heart etc and also other cancers it’s driving me crazy ️ I’m going to see a Holistic doctor soon to try and remedy my body naturally. Thank you so much for your message it’s lovely to speak to someone who is going through the same thing xx
Mine was full breast radiation and I just had to trust the radiographers new what they were doing in relation to my heart/lungs. I know there is a very small chance of effects 20 yrs down the line but I’ll worry about that then - if it ever arises. In the meantime, research studies have shown one can lesson this from happening by doing cardio exercises. So have been doing a lot of power walking of late, far more productive than worrying about things.
I used to go to the gym everyday before I became unwell and will go back once my soreness and tenderness goes, it’s very good for you. Keep up the training many health benefits. Thank you xx
