I have been told that there are no visible signs of Cancer in my Colon after Pre Op Chemo before liver resection. The Cancer has gone AWOL.

They are offering laproscopic surgery to resect the colon and they have me sceduled for pre operative check after 3 weeks (need to recover from Liver op). 

I was also told I could opt to have the colon monitored going forward and not have surgery.

What I would like to know is what would be considered the best option. Operation or Observation?

I am pretty sure that resection offers the best option for a cure but also know that this offers the potential for a stoma

Can anyone offer me any advice? At the moment I am thinking Op.
