Hi, looking for advice, ? Reassurance. I had a radical Nephorectomy on 24th Dec18, was intended as a Partial but had to move to total . Intra op had Pnuemathorax,  initial recovery was as expected, catheter removed day 2 went into retention so catheter put back in. Removed after further 12 hrs. Discharged on day 4 post op. Wound healing really well 33 staples removed day 7. My problem is bowels did not move for 12 days although 2 x bisocodyl and Laxido everyday. Bowels now moving with same regime of laxatives. Severe Nausea,  and extreme pain after eating lasting up to 3/4 hrs, sticking to poached fish , toast and tea, water. Pain is localised to left side from belly button and lower abdomen. Is this normal
