Re The good and the bad

Hello :)

I had been searching for some good reviews about Letrozole and information about radiotherapy when I came across this amazing thread. I have been very much reassured by the comments from the wonderful ladies on here already. I was 3 weeks post op WLI and SNB last Thursday and will be seeing oncologist this Tuesday and then RT planning appointment on Thursday.  Still very sore and tired from op and having a few melt downs which I why I started looking for positivity. My story is a very lucky one I think, I had nipple discharge in October last year and saw the ‘lemon tray’ on Facebook promoting breast cancer awareness and freaked out when I saw the liquid lemon! I had mammograms, scan and biopsies which showed I had a benign papilloma. When I was given the results of the biopsies and told that the papilloma would be removed there was a big BUT... I was told that they needed to investigate something in my other breast. It turned out to be invasive ductal and is hormone receptive (hope that’s the right description!) I had the results on Christmas Eve that is wasn’t in the lymph nodes which was a massive massive relief.  It’s been quite a roller coaster since November and I’m so grateful that everything has been done so fast but now this in between time before RT starts is feeling a bit scary. Not taken the Letrozole as yet, was a bit worried about the side effects at the same time at the RT is being done.

So the good... I am comforted by all the positive posts on here

the bad...... none tonight
