Tomorrow I have my final chemo session, which is great, but this morning I had a phone call from my MacMillan lung nurse to tell me that in four week’s time I will be having a PET scan and after that, maybe two weeks later, I will have an operation.  I had hoped for radiotherapy but obviously not.  I was diagnosed several months ago with stage 1 lung cancer (on top of my ovarian cancer).

Any information about PET scan and/or the operation would be much appreciated.  To say I was disappointed is putting it mildly!!!
