I have had my 2nd round of FEC(due 3rd next week) and for past few days both my breasts have felt tender..bit like when your due to start your period. Is this the chemo doing this at all? Has anyone else had this happen to them?
Thanku

Hi Danni,
Ive just finished chemo. Had 3 rounds of FEC and 4 rounds of the T part. All I can say is Oh Yes! My boobs were really painful which was worrying at the time but it's just the chemo doing it's thing. My tumor had shrank by half so it wasn't anything sinister so don't worry. Chemo I found causes aches and pains everywhere on your body. Just part of treatment but it's amazing how quick it all goes. I have my double mastectomy booked for 23rd of March as my cancer is stage 3 and advanced so I'm all prepped for further boob pain.
Good luck with everything

I know this thread/post is a few years old but thank you, it has really helped me. My mind is in constant overdrive and every feeling in my boobs I am thinking is something sinister xx
Aww glad it put your mind at rest, I was the same but this chat site is fantastic for any questions you may have...and believe me I've asked some daft ones and someone has always given me advice which has helped tremendously.
Take care

It's the 3rd week after my first EC treatment and I keep getting a stinging feeling in my affected boob. It is really stressing me out. Is this normal??
Hi...by looks of it this is normal I had tenderness too. I think it's the chemo doing it's job but if it's worrying you too much please contact your BCN for advice to put your mind at ease.

Ive felt exactly the same, a stinging sensation around the nipple. (where the problem was) it is scary. Has anyone else experienced this?
Hi sunshine I finished my chemo in Jan then had mastectomy in Feb. The chemo did a really good job so any tingling (can't even remember now as so long ago) wasn't doing any harm! Hope you are doing ok? X
Do you take zoladex ? I have been experiencing the same thing just had my 1st chemo session breast are very sore and painful but it started when I had the zoladex
Hello I’m new here has any one had or got inflammatory breast cancer.. x
