Triple negative breast cancer grade 3

Hi everyone.

I have triple negative breast cancer grade 3 and start my chemo in 2 weeks. 3 sessions of FEC - T then 3 of docetaxel.  Have been looking at wigs but just doesn't feel right. I'm scared and don't wanna know to much about it if I honest just want to know that it's treatable and curable which docs have told me it is so that's good enough for me. Has anyway else had this diagnosis or treatment and what can i expect. The fear of infection while going thru treatment scares me also. How has everyone else been with that ??

    So sorry this is badly written, I meant to say, I gained and lost weight during different types of chemo. My point is, don't put pressure on yourselves, .... I just read a post of a women who has put 17 years past her diagnosis, that's made my day,she didn't change her diet during treatment either.

    Thanks for your reply. My moms treatment is happening backhome in india. She has a tripple negative breast cancer. She was meant to be on her last chemo, when they found that the original tumor under the armpit has decreased but theres a few new grown cells (sorry abt my terminology) on the left breast. This is not a good result, they were expecting of chemo.

    But the positive thing is that its still considered as local, so it hasnt gone to other parts of the body. 

    They said new growth is very rare. They didnt sound very positive.

    I am going back home to take care of my mom now

     

    I am not willing to give up. I am sure our body has enough healing capabilities, if we eat the right food. we will still go with the procedure, but be very careful with the diet
