Sarcomatoid Carcinoma / Carcinosarcoma

Hello Friendly Forum Folk,

I'm a bit stuck. As a relative pro to this cancer game, having been diagnosed 19 years ago, aged 14, with recurrence and new cancer diagnosis, I am reaching out to a community I haven't previously connected to.

My new cancer, as of 2015 is Sarcomatoid Carcinoma / Carcinosarcoma. It came back last year, and now again this year. The stuff on the internet is all detail and biochemistry way beyond my current comprehension. I am hoping someone knows of a doctor or scientist that has dealt with this type. My doctors are brilliant, but they are definitely stabbing in the dark, and very honest that there isn't a protocol for them to follow.

So I throw this out there, hoping someone knows something. I have already been in touch with Peeweetom who also has SC, but a different subtype to mine. 

Also, open to other strands of chat!

    A warm welcome to our friendly community. You seem to have a great sense of humour and will no doubt be a great addition to our forum. It's great that you have already connected with [@PeeWeeToms]‍ . if you use the search engine from the left-hand side of the blue banner at the top of this page and insert 'sarcomatoid carcinoma' or 'carcinosarcoma' you will end up seeing previous posts from people that came to us with the same diagnosis. I had a look for you and it seems to be quite rare as there haven't been so many forum posts but do have a look and see if there is anyone else you would like to respond to.

    Don't hesitate also to give our nurses a call on this free number 0808 800 4040 Monday to Friday - their line is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. They may be able to help answer any questions you may have on this particular type of cancer.

    By the way I love your T-Shirt on your avatar picture, you look fantastic in it and I love its colour too!:D
