Hello Storyteller; sorry to hear that you have cancer.  I - like others who post on this forum - have no medical qualifications and I don't think any of us could give you an exact date.  Even qualified medics have difficulty in getting this right as patients with the same degree of cancer can vary enormously in how long they have.   Nevertheless it is to your doctor that these questions should be addressed. Do you have family living with you?  I don't like to think of you on your own, losing weight and worrying.  Are you managing to eat reasonably well?  And are you seeing your care team regularly?  You sound to be a good strapping guy, carrying a fair amount of weight (you can probably afford to lose a little) and if you have a terminal illness I hope you can enjoy whatever time you have.  I hope you will feel free to talk with us regularly - if  you so wish - about how things are going for you.  Best wishes.  Annie
