Ok so the cancer was not that big a shock after all I am or hopefully soon will be a 'was a' smoker.  But then I was looking forward to some time with the grandkids as they live quite far away and then this week I find out my son is in difficulties with his relationship and has moved to stay with me for a while.

I had to suspend the in law as posts on Facebook while I love seeing the vids and pics I struggle to get past the feeling I may have just lost the last opportunity to spend real quality time with my grandchildren.  Am I just being selfish?
