Welcome to Cancer Chat CLWN,
Very sorry to hear that your cancer has spread and that the doctors have said it is incurable. I hope you will hear from other forum members who have been diagnosed with cervical cancer which has spread to these particular nodes and that they can share their experience with you so that you know a little bit more about what to expect. We do have a lovely member here who has had cervical cancer, [@LauraP] and she may have heard about this particular type of spread.
If you have any medical question, feel free also to get in touch with our cancer nurses on this free number 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. They also have an Ask the Nurses topic area on this forum.
Best wishes,

Hi,
I did have cervical cancer, stage 2A. I had chemo and radiation. What stage are you at? Have they told you about any treatment plan? Let me know how you are doing.

Hi, thanks for replying, in October 2013 I had Stage 2b cervical cancer which they treated with radio and chemo and then brachytherapy and said was cured. At a check up in 2016 they found it had spread to the lymph nodes. In sept 2016 a macmillan nurse told me I had less than a year, although my oncologist disagreed, but said to "do everything I wanted to do'. I've since had more chemo and avastin which has shrunk the lymph nodes in my stomach and chest but it can't be cured because the subcarinal node cannot be removed and I can't have radio on it as it's too near too many vital organs. My problem is they have no answers, they cannot tell me where it will go next, what will happen, how quick, what I should do in the mean time, so I have 3 monthly CT scans and have to basically wait and see, also I have googled as much as I can and can see no results for anything to do with cervical cancer in this particular lymph node. I feel like I'm constantly waiting for something to happen, and can't help being a little paranoid everytime I don't feel all that well. Sorry, this is long, Im just all over the place and would just like some answers. I hope everything is well with you at the moment. And I really appreciate you answering.
Hello again,
I don't know anything about this kind of diagnosis but I think I would tend to believe what the oncologist said. I think you should live your life and try to do the most you can to be healthy, exercise, etc.. Also, if you can, get into therapy. That has helped me so much on this journey. Please keep in touch and let me know how you are doing. It helps to talk.
